A new era of work.
Limitless.
Three constraints, all structural,
all getting worse. Let's use
logistics as an example:
SUPPLY
30–50%
Annual operator turnover in EU logistics. Workforce shrinking, aging out faster than replaced. Every rotation re-opens a productivity gap.
COST
~70%
Of a 2-shift forklift's loaded TCO is the operator. Wages up 4–7% per year. Shift premiums, sickness cover and onboarding outpace machine cost.
RELIABILITY
5x
Forklift-operator injury rate vs. the average warehouse role. Shifts go uncovered. Safety incidents block throughput. Iron sits idle 34% of the time.
The labour you can hire isn't enough. The labour you can't hire is what holds you back.
Physical machines run the world, and every one of them needs a brain to operate it. Today that brain is human: scarce, hard to scale, and stretched thin.
Multiply the human brain with AI, and the economics flip. Every correction compounds. The cost of industrial work falls immediately, enabling a new industrial productivity revolution.
The objective is to keep throughput at a much lower cost. Make automation work across the full workflow range without reconfiguration and reimplementation.

The brain is the model. The body is the machine. Not a robot we ship. Not just a retrofit on a machine. A silicon brain that operates the machine, whatever shape that machine takes. One platform for the full fleet of material-handling machines, and the ambition doesn't stop at the horizon.

MACHINE CONTROL
Continuous trajectories, drive, lift, navigate, adapt.
Named after Odin's two ravens in Norse mythology, Huginn (thought) and Muninn (memory), who fly across the world each day and return with what must be remembered.
Today, one operator supervises two to three machines.
As ODIN improves — each deployment feeding the next model — that ratio scales: one operator to four, to six, to dozens of machines across sites.
Productivity made limitless. Decoupled from the human hour.
Every machine you run supported by the same system.

PROOF FROM THE FIELD
HIVE was founded in Norway, by a team that understands industrial operations from the inside. The platform was built in the field, in tunnels, on snowfields, at ports, not in a lab or a pitch deck. Today HIVE coordinates industrial fleets across construction, mining and logistics, and the ambition doesn't stop at the horizon.
EXTREME ENVIRONMENTS · FROZEN OPERATIONS
Cold doesn't pause operations — it removes the people who run them. HIVE hardens every layer of the machine so autonomy holds where a human shift can't.
SENSORS & PERCEPTION
Heated lidars and sensors are Industrial grade IP 67-69 to beat the fogging and condensation of freezer transitions, and are specified to −40 °C.
COMPUTE & ELECTRONICS
Temperature controlled enclosures keep compute in range with a fully encapsulated cabinet.
NAVIGATION & SAFETY
Point-cloud tuning for reflective floors; localisation and braking models account for ice, slip and longer stops.
THE TRANSITION PROBLEM
The hardest problem isn't the cold — it's the boundary. Every pass between ambient and −20 °C drives condensation, thermal shock and fog. Hive has been tested in the Transition zone to build up a robust operational Best Practice for the transition.
EXTREME ENVIRONMENTS · WINTER HARDWARE
Running at −20 °C — with the lenses kept clear.
Outdoor cold fogs and ices the optics autonomy depends on. Our winter hardware kit keeps the camera lenses clean and clear of fog and condensation, shift after shift.
